GEMCO2 Fire Suppression System
The GEMCO2 system utilizes carbon dioxide (CO₂)—a time-proven, non-conductive extinguishing agent ideal for protecting electrical and industrial equipment. The system stores liquefied CO₂ in high-pressure cylinders, which is rapidly released through a network of discharge valves, piping, and detection devices. Upon activation by heat or smoke detection, CO₂ is discharged into the protected area, displacing oxygen and swiftly extinguishing the fire without leaving any residue.
