INERT GASES

GEM541 Inert Gas Suppression System

GEM541 is an inert clean agent composed of 52% Nitrogen (N₂), 40% Argon (Ar), and 8% Carbon Dioxide (CO₂). This carefully balanced blend gives it a slightly higher density than air, allowing it to distribute evenly throughout the protected enclosure during discharge. In non-turbulent conditions, the agent may tend to concentrate slightly toward the middle and lower sections of the space. GEM541 is especially effective in areas where fire risks exist near the floor or around sensitive equipment. Its high storage pressure also enables it to cover extended pipe runs, great heights, and complex layouts with excellent efficiency.

  • Effective total-flood suppression rapidly lowers oxygen to extinguish fires in critical, enclosed areas.

  • Residue-free and equipment-safe, the agent is non-conductive and ideal for sensitive electronics.

  • Environmentally responsible, made from natural gases with low climate and zero ozone impact.

  • Occupant-friendly protection includes only 8% CO₂, supporting safe evacuation in populated spaces.

  • Robust system design supports high-pressure (200–300 bar) storage, complex layouts, and various actuator types.

  • Quick and flexible installation allows full discharge in under one minute and cylinder placement up to 100 meters away.
